How do I customise my invoices

We don't just help you run your business, but we also make sure you look as professional as possible when interacting with, and invoicing, your customers. With SmartTrade you have fully customisable Quotes and Invoices. You add all your business details, payment terms and information, your business logo and even your own Terms & Conditions, if you have additional terms.  

The full range of customisation to your invoices are done via your "Invoice Settings" in your dashboard. On your mobile you can alter vital information for your invoice if needed, but will not be able to add logo, payment terms and T&C's.

Customising in your Online Dashboard

When logging in, you need to enter your "Account Settings" page from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner of your screen.

On the left hand side, the second option from the top will be your "Invoice Settings" where you will have all fields available.

Uploading your Terms & Conditions

When you scroll down on the page, you will see the option to upload your T&C's on the right hand side. Your terms need to be uploaded in PDF format in order to be accepted. They will then be showed on all your quotes, invoices and receipts.

Once you've successfully uploaded the file, don't forget to click "Save" at the bottom of the screen.

Uploading your Logo

Right below the option to upload your T&C's, you have the option to upload your logo. Note, the logo will be scaled to a maximum of 400 pixels wide and 120 pixels in height. The accepted formats are .jpg, .png and .gif.

As with the T&C's, make sure you hit "Save" after successfully uploading your logo. We recommend that you preview your quote or invoice to make sure you are satisfied with your upload.

Customising in your Mobile Application

If you're out and about and just need to make a few small edits to your business details before sending an invoice, you can do this straight from the application by selecting the menu icon on the upper left side

and clicking on your account name.

and edit any of the items seen below.

The edits will all be synchronised in real time with your Online Dashboard as well.
