Our payment provider partner, Wirecard, will at times need to send important information regarding your account such as scheduled maintenance which may affect your ability to accept payments.
Whenever they send out emails, the domain will always be @wirecard.com. Sometimes you may also see something like "via ..." if they're using a third party to send out emails and it may look like this:
"firstname.lastname@example.org via sendnode.com"
As you can see, the email address before "via" ends in @wirecard.com which means the email is a legitimate email from their support team.
If you see any other domains not matching SmartTrade App or Wirecard, please let our support team know right away.
The correspondence from Wirecard will be for the legitimate interest of the customer and their use of the payments service.
